3D Scans
The artifacts presented on this page in 3D scan format and as 3D printable files belong to the Native American peoples who deposited them at the Spiro Mounds over 1000 years ago. These scans were made from replicas at the Spiro Mounds Archaeological Center at the request of the curators. Oklahoma State University holds no rights to any of the artifacts, scans, or 3D printable files.
We acknowledge and honor the cultural and historical significance of these artifacts to the Native American communities. We are committed to respecting digital sovereignty and the rights of Indigenous peoples over their cultural heritage.
We extend our gratitude to the Native American peoples for their enduring heritage and their continued stewardship of these significant cultural artifacts.
